Part 1: Basic Properties

Araldite® LY 5052 / Aradur® 5052 is a cold-curing epoxy system consisting of a low-viscosity epoxy resin (LY 5052) and a polyamine-based hardener (5052). It offers excellent mechanical properties, high-temperature resistance, and long pot life, making it ideal for aerospace, industrial composites, and tooling applications.


Part 2: Product Overview

Araldite® LY 5052 is a clear, low-viscosity resin for easy impregnation, while Aradur® 5052 ensures controlled curing. The system cures at ambient temperature, achieving a glass transition temperature (Tg) of up to 120°C (post-cured) with outstanding dynamic properties. It is qualified by the German Aircraft Authority for glider production.
